Some of the biggest, baddest monsters in Dueling need a little help to get to the field.  Tribute Summons, Xyz Summons, and Synchro Summons don’t just happen on their own: big plays need big support, and sometimes the trickiest part is rounding up enough little guys to unleash a big brute…
…And that’s where the D-Boyz come in!  Making its world premiere in Photon ShockwaveD-Boyz lets you instantly throw as many as 3 monsters onto the table, all with the flip of a single card.  Check it out!

FLIP: You can Special Summon any number of “D-Boyz” from your Deck in face-up Attack Position, then you take 1000 damage for each monster Special Summoned by this effect.
If your opponent attacks and destroys your Set D-Boyz, you can Special Summon up to 2 more to take its place.  Flip Summon D-Boyz yourself, and you’ll wind up with 3 Level 1 Fiend-Types on the field.  What do you do with them?  Well, you could hide behind them, let them hit the Graveyard, and then Special Summon something huge like Dark Armed Dragon or DarkNecrofear.  But let’s think bigger.

Some monsters are so powerful that you have to tribute 3 monsters to Summon them.  Normally that would be tough, but with the D-Boyz on your side, all you have to do is Flip Summon a single monster.  Take 2000 damage, pull 2 more D-Boyz from your Deck, and you can make some seriously slick Summons.
-Tribute all 3 D-Boyz to Special Summon Destiny Hero – Plasma.  Its effect lets you steal a monster to power it up, and it also negates the effects of every opposing monster on the field.
-Tribute 3 D-Boyz to Tribute Summon Beast King Barbaros.  It hits the field with 3000 ATK, and it’ll destroy all of your opponent’s cards with its effect.
-Finally, Flip Summoning D-Boyz gives you everything you need to call upon the power of the Egyptian God Cards!  Special Summon your D-Boyz, and you can Tribute Summon Obelisk the Tormentor.  Obelisk has 4000 ATK; its Summon can’t be negated; and your opponent can’t target it.

Don’t have a card in your hand to combo with D-Boyz?  Good news: you don’t need one! Photon Shockwave brings us 2 Rank 1 Xyz Monsters, and you can Xyz Summon both of them by stacking 3 Level 1 monsters.  Flip Summon D-Boyz, and you can combine them to Xyz SummonBaby Tiragon, or Number 83: Galaxy Queen.
-You can detach an Xyz Material from Baby Tiragon to turn 1 of your Level 1 monsters into a direct attacker, for as long as that monster remains face-up on the field.
Switch your Tragoedia to Level 1 using its effect, then let it attack directly for huge damage! Remember, you’re not giving up multiple in-hand cards for this Xyz Summon. Every one past the first D-Boyz came from the Deck!
-Number 83: Galaxy Queen’s effect lets you detach an Xyz Material from her once a turn.  If you do, then your monsters get 2 benefits until your opponent’s End Phase: they’ll gain the ability to deal piercing damage, and your opponent won’t be able to destroy them by battle.
Any big monster can benefit from this, and having a big monster before you Set D-Boyz can discourage your opponent from attacking and leaving a vulnerable monster in Attack Position. Galaxy Queen will make it vulnerable in Defense Position instead!
There’s tons of cool stuff you can do with a field full of D-Boyz.  For instance, you can trade them for your opponent’s monsters with cards like Creature Swap and Enemy Controller.  You could power them up with United We Stand or Leeching the Light.  You can even playTreaty on Uniform Nomenclature to destroy all of your opponent’s Spell and Trap Cards!  D-Boyz is one of the coolest combo cards we’ve seen in a while, so watch for it at your Photon Shockwave Sneak Peek!
