The Agent Deck is capable of some powerful moves, as I proved in my previous article. However, a deck is only as good as its support. Thankfully, the amount of cards that work in an Agent Deck is staggering! Today we’re going to take a look at some of the cards that aren’t in the Lost Sanctuary Structure Deck, but work just as well in your very own Agent Deck.
Dimensional Alchemist is probably my favorite card that isn’t in the Structure Deck, but works perfectly with the Deck. It’s a Level 4, 1300 ATK monster can banish the top card of your Deck in order to boost his ATK by 500 for the turn. Then, when he is destroyed and sent to your Graveyard, you can add one of your banished monster to your hand. It’s a lot like Card Trooper!
Between Cards from the SkyMaster HyperionThe Agent of Miracles – JupiterMiraculous Descent, and more, it’s easy to see why Dimensional Alchemist works so well in an Agent Deck. By allowing you to reuse and recycle all of your most powerful monster effects,Dimensional Alchemist deserves a look in every Agent Deck.
Archlord Kristya is probably everyone elses favorite card that isn’t in the Structure Deck, but works perfectly with the Deck. This massive Fairy has 2800 ATK and an effect that wins games by itself. You can Special Summon Kristya if you have exactly four Fairy-Type Monsters in your Graveyard, if you Special Summon her this way, you get to choose one of those Fairys and add it to your hand. While Kristya is face up on the field, neither player can Special Summon monsters. This locks down a lot of Decks right now, sometimes to the point where your opponent can literally do nothing but stare at Kristya as she quickly eats away their Life Points.
That isn’t even the end of it though! If Kristya is in danger of being destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, she returns to the top of your Deck instead. All you have to do to be able to Summon her again is send the card picked up with her first effect to the Graveyard, which is easy if the card you picked up was Honest. There’s basically no reason not to play Krystia in this Deck, especially since it’s been announced to be in the Wind-Up Zenmeister2011 Collectible Tin.
Genex Ally Birdman is a useful Tuner monster for many Decks. You can Special Summon it by bouncing a monster you control back to your hand. He’s a level 3 Tuner, which allows you to Synchro Summon any Level 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9 Synchro Monsters when combined with The Agent of Creation – Venus and Mystical Shine Balls. With Birdman, Venus, and 3 Shine Balls on the field (You can pay another 500 Life points to Special Summon the one you bounced back to your hand!) you can Synchro Summon a Level 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9 Synchro Monster. This means you will have an answer to almost any situation your opponent can come up with, all it costs is a few Life Points!
Mystical Shine Balls can also be combined to Xyz Summon Gachi Gachi Gantetsu. With Gachi Gachi on board, all your monsters power up by 400 ATK and DEF, making your Agent of Creation a 2000 ATK Level 3 monster!
These are just a few of the cards that aren’t in the Lost Sanctuary Structure Deck but work well with the cards that are in it just the same. Try to come up with a few of your own and you’ll see just how powerful an Agent Deck can become.
