It is Placido who blocks Yusei, challenge him to a duel. Though Yusei tries to stand up against him and fight back, it is said by the Dark Glass, that if you do not use "Accel Synchro", you won't have a single chance of beating Placido. So while he fights, Yusei desperately tries to find the method to produce an Accel Synchro.
