Photon Shockwave introduced the Evol monsters, an entire group of FIRE monsters that grow from tiny Reptiles to massive Dragons. It introduced Evolzar Laggia and Evolzar Dolkka – 2 boss monsters that can only be Summoned by overlaying Level 4 Dinosaurs. Now, the (r)evolution continues with Order of Chaos. A new Dragon at the pinnacle of its species has emerged – Evolzar Solda!

Evolzar Solda is a Rank 6 monster that uses 2 Level 6 Dinosaurs to Summon it. At first glance, it might look tough to Summon. But thanks to Evoltile Najasho and the other Evol cards available to protect them in their struggle with extinction, it’s actually pretty easy. And whenEvolzar Solda finally strikes the field, it emerges as an invincible Dragon that destroys monsters your opponent Special Summons.

There are lots of ways to Summon Evolzar Solda, but using Evoltile Najasho may be the quickest. Najasho lets you Special Summon any Evolsaur monster from your Deck whenever it’s Tributed. Luckily, there are 2 Level 6 Evolsaur monsters: Evolsaur Terias and Evolsaur Elias. Tribute Evoltile Najasho for Terias or Elias, and then use Najasho’s effect to Special Summon either one of them from your Deck. You’ll instantly have 2 Level 6 Dinosaurs on the field, and you’ll be able to Xyz Summon Evolzar Solda.

If you think that Tribute Summons are too slow for your Evol army, you can speed up the (r)evolution with Evo-Force or Evo-Instant! Evo-Force is a Spell Card that lets you Tribute an Evoltile monster to Special Summon an Evolsaur from your Deck. Evo-Instant is a Trap Card that lets you Tribute a Reptile to Special Summon an Evolsaur from your Deck. Tribute Najasho with either one of these cards, and you’ll get TWO Evolsaurs from your Deck – one for the effect of Najasho, and one for the effect of Evo-Force or Evo-Instant. Pick 2 Level 6 Evolsaurs, and you’ll be ready to Xyz Summon Evolzar Solda. If you want to Summon Evolzar Laggia orEvolzar Dolkka instead, you can do that by picking 2 Level 4 Evolsaurs.

Order of Chaos also brings rise to Evoltile Casinerio – a brand new Evoltile that Summons an Evolzar just by destroying a monster in battle! Casinerio is a Level 3 monster with 1600 ATK. You can Tribute it at the end of the Battle Phase after it destroys a monster in battle in order to Special Summon 2 Level 6 or lower FIRE Dinosaurs with the same name from your Deck. Take 2 Level 4 Dinosaurs and you can Xyz Summon Evolzar Laggia or Evolzar Dolkka. Take 2 Level 6 Dinosaurs and you can Xyz Summon Evolzar Solda.

Note that Casinerio doesn’t need to send the monster it destroys to the Graveyard in order to activate its effect. You can destroy a Fluff Token or Sheep Token with Evoltile Casinerio, and still activate its effect to Summon an Evolzar.

Evols make up a strong theme with access to powerful Xyz Monsters and lots of cool tricks. After combining older cards like Evoltile Westlo and Evolsaur Cerato with new cards fromOrder of Chaos, Dinosaurs may finally be able to take over in an Evolsaur (r)evolution!
