Mixing and matching cards for your customized Deck is the way to go if you wanna take your Dueling game to the next level. One good way to start is to see what's out there in stores right now. Let's take a look at some cards from Konami's latest releases, Starstrike Blast and the 2010 Collectible Tins,
and how you can use them together!Dragon Tune-Up
The new Spell Card Tuning is a great way to bring out "Synchron" Tuner monsters from your Deck! Use this card to search for Tuner monsters you'll need from your Deck to Synchro Summon Red Nova Dragon! However, keep in mind that you'll have to discard the top card from your Deck to the Graveyard.
Winning Formula
Bringing out a Level 2 Synchro Monster like Formula Synchron can be a bit tricky, since both the Tuner and non-Tuner parts must be Level 1 (remember, to bring out a Synchro monster, your combined Tuner and non-Tuner monsters' Levels must be equal to the Synchro monster Level).
Use Mischief of the Yokai to reduce all monsters by 2 Levels for the turn! Plus, monsters' Levels can never go below Level 1, so any Tuners and non-Tuners on the field that are normally Level 2 or lower will become Level 1 monsters!
Monstrous Upgrade
Power-up your already powerful Synchro monsters by using the Level 3 Tuner monster Creation Resonator. If you already have a Level 8 Synchro Monster on your field, you can Special Summon it for free! Use it with a Level 1 Tuner to upgrade your Red Dragon Archfiend into Red Nova Dragon!
