"Heroic" (ヒロイック Hiroikku) is an archetype used by Gauche in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL series. It involves Warrior-Type monsters with effects that allow them to get stronger that involves original ATKs. Their team symbol is a crimson Phoenix and are based on various famous military terms and weapons, such as the Spartan phalanx and Excalibur. So far, all "Heroic Challenger" monsters are EARTH-Attribute Effect Monsters, and "Heroic Champion" monsters are LIGHT-Attribute Xyz Monsters.
