In episode 13, Kaito Tenjo plays this card against Yuma Tsukumo. He overlays three "Daybreakers" to Xyz Summon it. He uses its effect to detach an Overlay Unit and send the "Light Serpent" in his hand to the Graveyard, drawing a card. In the next episode, he uses its effect again, detaching another Overlay Unit and a sending a card in his hand to the Graveyard to draw a card. It destroys Yuma's "Gogogo Golem" and is Tributed alongside "Number 20: Gig-Anto Brilli-Ant" to Special Summon "Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon".
This card's TCG name is a pun on "illuminate".
This card's white color as well as the red color of "Number 20: Gig-Anto Brilli-Ant" match their current owner Kaito Tenjo's eye colors (silver-white and red).
This card is more than likely Kaito's original Number, as it embodies the two sides of Kaito's personality. This card's knight basis references Kaito's pride and wish to help his brother (as knights have pride and wish to help people), as well as his truly nice personality. However, the somewhat fiendish appearance of this card reflects his cold demeanor against his opponents, as well as his harmful methods of gaining the Numbers.
The latter is also reflected in its effect, as Kaito sacrifices something that is apparently unimportant (the opponent's soul) in order to gain new power (the Numbers).
You can use this card's effect to send "Light Serpents" from your hand to your Graveyard, providing an easy way to Special Summon them. If you have more than two Light Serpents on your side of the field, they can be then be overlaid to Xyz Summon a Rank 3 Xyz Monster, such as "Number 20: Gig-Anto Brilli-Ant".
You can send "Skill Successor" to the Graveyard, so that its effect can be used to increase one of your monsters' ATK
A good combo to summon this card is with "Daybreaker". Use "Photon Veil" to return 3 LIGHT monsters to your deck, then add 3 copies of "Daybreaker" to your hand. Follow this by playing "Photon Lead," Special Summoning one "Daybreaker", then using their effects to summon the other two. You now can summon "No. 10" and still have a Normal Summon for the turn.
You can summon this monster very easily, using the effect of "Rescue Rabbit" to Special Summon two Level 4 Normal Monsters from your Deck, then Special Summon "Kagetokage" or use a Level 4 Trap Monster, and Xyz Summon this card.
You can summon this monster with a Gadget deck easily, using Ultimate Offering and summon 3 Gadget monsters, and overlay the cards, then using the effect with the last Gadget added to your hand.
