Meet the newest Synchro Monster in Generation ForceOrient Dragon is a 2300 ATK Dragon that banishes a Synchro Monster when it’s Summoned. This Synchro-hating monster can take down even the toughest Synchro Monsters, and is an immediate competitor for a spot in your Extra Deck!

1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
When this card is Synchro Summoned: Target 1 face-up Synchro Monster your opponent controls; banish that target.

Orient Dragon is a Level 6 Synchro Monster you can Synchro Summon with any Tuner and non-Tuner. But since Orient Dragon is also a Dragon-type monster, the easiest way to Summon it is with Debris Dragon.
Debris Dragon is a Level 4 monster that Special Summons a monster with 500 or less ATK from the Graveyard when it’s Summoned. Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter is a popular Level 2 monster to Special Summon with the effect of Debris Dragon, since it’s used in most Plant and Tengu Decks, and only has 200 ATK.
Debris Dragon can only be used in a Synchro Summon to create a Dragon-type Synchro Monster. That’s why, up until now, Iron Chain Dragon was the only monster that could be Synchro Summoned by Tuning Ryko with Debris Dragon. But now, Duelists have a new option. Now, they can Synchro Summon Orient Dragon instead
Orient Dragon will get rid of even the toughest monsters. Stardust Dragon and Shooting Star Dragon can stop destruction effects, but are powerless against Orient Dragon’s ability to banish them. Similarly, Thought Ruler Archfiend can stop Spells and Traps that target it, but is helpless against Orient Dragon’s power.

All Synchro Monsters must fear Orient Dragon!
Even when you’re not using Debris Dragon as a Synchro Material Monster and can choose anyLevel 6 Synchro Monster to Summon to the field, Orient Dragon will still be the best choice in lots of situations. Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier can take care of Synchro Monsters as easily as Orient Dragon, but requires a Duelist to discard a card from his hand to do it. Gaia Knight, the Force of Earth can take down some Synchro Monsters in battle, but can’t hold its own against a monster with more than 2600 ATK. It also needs to pull off a successful attack in order to get rid of enemy monsters.
Orient Dragon will change the way that Duelists play with Synchro Monsters. X-Saber Decks can Summon it by Tuning XX-Saber Darksoul with XX-Saber Fulhelmknight, Six Samurai Decks can Summon it by Tuning Kagemusha of the Six Samurai with Legendary Six Samurai – Kizan, and even some Gravekeeper’s Decks can Summon it by Tuning Blackwing – Gale the Whirlwind with Gravekeeper’s Recruiter. Almost every Deck with a Tuner in it can easily Summon Orient Dragon and use its effect to turn a Duel around by banishing an opponent’s strongest monster.
Generation Force is packed with powerful cards to put in your Extra Deck. Most of them are Xyz Monsters, but that doesn’t mean Synchros have been left in the dust. Orient Dragon provides a big boost to Synchro-based Decks, while also giving them a new enemy. The Dueling world is sure to feel its impact when Generation Force is released.
