Reborn Tengu has 1700 ATK and lets you Special Summon another copy from your Deck whenit leaves the field! Here are a few of the incredible and powerful things you can do withReborn Tengu!
1.)    Reborn Tengu is the Perfect Monster for a Synchro Summon!
Using Reborn Tengu in a Synchro Summon is easy. Since Reborn Tengu replaces itself whenever it leaves the field, you can Normal Summon your first copy on one turn, and still be confident that you’ll have a Reborn Tengu on the field when you start your next turn. On that turn, you can Summon a monster to Tune with Reborn Tengu. When Reborn Tengu leaves the field because of the Synchro Summon, you’ll get to Special Summon another copy from your Deck!
Since your new Reborn Tengu can also be used in a Synchro Summon, your first Reborn Tenguwill go best with Tuners that duplicate themselves or can be used twice. For example, if you Summon Deep Sea Diva and use its effect to Special Summon another Diva from your Deck while you have your first copy of Reborn Tengu on the field, you’ll be able to Synchro Summon 2 Level 6 Synchro Monsters, while keeping a Reborn Tengu on the field!
Summon Deep Sea Diva while you have Reborn Tengu on the field to Special Summon another Diva from your Deck.
Summon Deep Sea Diva while you have Reborn Tengu on the field to Special Summon another Diva from your Deck.
Tune Deep Sea Diva with Reborn Tengu to Synchro Summon a Level 6 monster (like Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier) and Special Summon another Reborn Tengu from your Deck.
Tune Deep Sea Diva with Reborn Tengu to Synchro Summon a Level 6 monster (like Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier) and Special Summon another Reborn Tengu from your Deck.
Tune your other Deep Sea Diva with your newly Summoned Reborn Tengu to Synchro Summon another Level 6 monster (like Gaia Knight, the Force of Earth) and Special Summon another Reborn Tengu from your Deck.
Tune your other Deep Sea Diva with your newly Summoned Reborn Tengu to Synchro Summon another Level 6 monster (like Gaia Knight, the Force of Earth) and Special Summon another Reborn Tengu from your Deck.
By Summoning just 2 monsters from your hand, you have more than 6000 Attack Points on the field!
You can use 2 copies of Naturia Cherries instead of 2 Deep Sea Divas if you want to Synchro Summon Level 5 monsters instead of Level 6. You can also use Plaguespreader Zombie orGlow-Up Bulb to Synchro Summon using Reborn Tengu twice in one turn, by reviving either of these Tuners from your Graveyard with its effect.
2.)    Reborn Tengu is the Perfect Monster to Tribute!
Since Reborn Tengu replaces itself with another copy when it’s Tributed, Tributing it to Summon a stronger monster essentially brings that monster onto the field for free! So if you Tribute Reborn Tengu to Summon Scrap Golem, you’ll immediately be able to Special Summon another Tengu from your Deck. You can quickly put that copy to use, too. Since Scrap Golem is a Level 5 non-Tuner and Reborn Tengu is a Level 4 non-Tuner, Special Summoning Scrap Goblin (Level 3 Tuner) or Scrap Beast (Level 4 Tuner) from your Graveyard with the effect ofScrap Golem will let you Synchro Summon the Level 8 Scrap Dragon that turn! Then, you can use Scrap Dragon’s effect to destroy Reborn Tengu and 1 of your opponent’s cards. If you have any Tengus left in your Deck, you can Special Summon one!
If your Deck ever runs out of Tengus while you’re going for big plays, you can use Pot of Avarice to recycle the Tengus in your Graveyard and Special Summon them from your Deck again.
3.)    Reborn Tengu is the Perfect Explorer!
Even if you don’t have any big combos developing, you can still put Reborn Tengu to great use! Since Reborn Tengu has 1700 ATK, you can throw it at your opponent’s weaker monsters to destroy them in battle and gain the lead. You might even be able to score a few direct attacks with it. Your opponent won’t want to waste Trap Cards like Bottomless Trap Hole andDimensional Prison on a monster that replaces itself, so Summoning Reborn Tengu to the field and applying pressure to your opponent is the perfect way to force your opponent’s hand. He’ll quickly reveal just how strong his cards are when he shows you how well he can handle Reborn Tengu without burning through his Trap Cards.
Reborn Tengu is an incredible card that fits in with a bunch of different Decks and strategies. Try it out, and you’ll see just how powerful 3 copies can be!
