Blackwing – Breeze the Zephyr is a Level 3 Tuner with 1100 ATK. Whenever it’s added from your Deck to your hand by the effect of another card, you can Special Summon it right away! From there you can use it to Synchro Summon a “Blackwing” Synchro Monster, either Blackwing Armor Master, Blackwing Armed Wing or Blackwing – Silverwind the Ascendant.

Breeze can be used to Summon any “Blackwing” Synchro monster

Breeze’s effect activates whenever a Spell, Trap or Effect Monster’s effect adds it from your Deck to your hand. The best card to do this with in a Blackwing Deck is Black Whirlwind. If you Normal Summon any “Blackwing” monster with 1200 or more ATK, like Blackwing – Shura the Blue Flame, you can add Breeze to your hand with Black Whirlwind and Summon it right away. It can even work on your opponent’s turn, so if your opponent destroys your Sangan in battle, you can search for Breeze and Summon it.

Blackwing – Breeze the Zephyr’s effect also works when you draw a card by an effect, since that counts as adding cards from your Deck to your hand. If you activate Pot of Avarice and draw Breeze after you shuffle 5 monsters back into your Deck, you can Special Summon it!

Breeze’s second effect limits it to “Blackwing” Synchro Monsters, so you can’t use it to Synchro Summon non-Blackwing Synchros like Black Rose Dragon and Goyo Guardian. Being a Level 3 Tuner however, makes Synchro Summoning “Blackwing” Synchro Monsters a lot easier, especially when you combine it with Black Whirlwind. When you Normal Summon a Level 4 “Blackwing” like Blackwing – Shura the Blue Flame or Blackwing – Bora the Spear, you can add Breeze to your hand with Black Whirlwind and Special Summon it to bring out Blackwing Armor Master. You can do the same thing to Summon Blackwing Armed Wing if you Normal Summon Blackwing – Kalut the Moon Shadow.

Thanks to Breeze, you’ll be able to Summon “Blackwing” Synchros more often, since you won’t have to use your only copy of Blackwing – Gale the Whirlwind or one of your Blizzards to make “Blackwing” Synchros, freeing them up to be used for Stardust Dragon, Ally of Justice Catastor, or any other Synchro Monster you feel like Summoning.
