”Super-Nimble Mega Hamster” is one of the most exciting and talked about cards from Absolute Powerforce. It’s a Flip Effect Monster with 1800 DEF that can Special Summon any Level 3 or lower Beast-Type monster from your Deck. Since the monster you Special Summon is Summoned in face-down Defense Position, there are a lot of cool things you can do with “Super-Nimble Mega Hamster” that you just can’t do with cards like “Gravekeeper’s Spy.”

“Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter” is one of the best cards to Special Summon with “Super-Nimble Mega Hamster.” It’s a Flip Effect Monster too, and since you Special Summon it face-down you can use its Flip Effect to destroy a card! Ryko isn’t the only great monster you can get with “Super-Nimble Mega Hamster.”  You can also get “Des Koala,” another Flip Effect Monster, or the Tuner monster “X-Saber Airbellum.”
With 1800 Defense Points, you can Set ”Super-Nimble Mega Hamster” face-down and be fairly certain that it will survive an attack from an opposing monster. You’ll have a little trouble with “Blackwing – Sirocco the Dawn”  and “Flamvell Firedog,” but powerhouses like “Blackwing – Shura the Blue Flame” won’t be able to get past your Hamster without help. Save your Traps for the really big monsters, so that when “Super-Nimble Mega Hamster” flips, you’ll be able to keep it and the monster you Special Summon on the field.
If “Super-Nimble Mega Hamster” survives the attack, you’ll have lots of things you can do with it and the monster it Special Summons. Let’s say you use “Super-Nimble Mega Hamster” to Special Summon “Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter” from your Deck. Your opponent will probably Set a Spell or Trap Card and end his turn. On your turn, you can flip “Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter” to destroy the Spell or Trap Card, then Tribute it to Summon a high-Level monster! “Caius the Shadow Monarch” is a popular choice because it can remove monsters from play and deal damage if it hits a Blackwing monster or “Gravekeeper’s Spy.”

You can also use “Super-Nimble Mega Hamster” to set up a Synchro Summon. If your opponent attacks into your face-down “Super-Nimble Mega Hamster”you can Special Summon “X-Saber Airbellum” to your side of the field in face-down Defense Position. Next turn, you can flip over the X-Saber Airbellum and Synchro Summon a Level 7 monster like “Black Rose Dragon” right away. If you Summon another monster and use it to Synchro Summon a monster, you’ll still be left with “Super-Nimble Mega Hamster” to defend yourself even if something bad happens to your Synchro Monster. ”X-Saber Airbellum” also has a great effect, so if you can destroy your opponent’s monster with a Spell or Trap Card you can attack directly with “X-Saber Airbellum” to make your opponent discard a card and then Synchro Summon.

These are just a couple of the things “Super-Nimble Mega Hamster is capable of. There are tons of other card choices and combos the Hamster can pull out as well. If your opponent has a huge monster with a fantastic effect on the field, Special Summon “Neo-Spacian Dark Panther” and copy it! If your opponent has only a few Life Points remaining, Special Summon “Des Koala” and finish him off! With so many great Beast-Type monsters in the game, ”Super-Nimble Mega Hamster” is sure to be a contender in the new format.
