The Shining Darkness is still about a month away, but we couldn’t wait to show you the card you’ll get just by attending the Sneak Peek! XX-Saber Boggart Knight is the newest card for X-Saber Decks, combining brute force and masterful tactics into one must-play card!
XX-Saber Boggart Knight is a Level 4, 1900 ATK Beast-Warrior. When you Normal Summon Boggart Knight, you can also Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower “X-Saber” monster, from your hand. The only drawback to Boggart Knight is that he can’t be used as a Synchro Material Monster, except for an “X-Saber” Synchro Monster. But that’s fine! X-Sabers have so many great Synchro Monsters available, why would you use anything else, anyway?
Boggart Knight is the strongest Level 4 X-Saber monster yet, and his special ability will let you pull off combos you never thought possible, since it lets you immediately Special Summon another X-Saber monster from your hand. That means you’ll have 2 X-Saber monsters on the field, so you can Special Summon XX-Saber Faultroll as well, who require 2 other X-Sabers in order to play him. This makes it even easier to flood the field with a massive swarm of X-Sabers, ready to cut down your opponent’s Life Points in an instant!
Another great use of Boggart Knight is to play Boggart Knight (who is a non-Tuner) plus a Tuner monster at the same time, so you can do an instant Synchro Summon. The Shining Darkness features the worldwide release of two X-Saber Tuner monsters: X-Saber Pashuul(Level 2) and X-Saber Palomuro (Level 1). Now when you Normal Summon XX-Saber Boggart Knight, you can Special Summon a Level 1, 2, or 3 X-Saber Tuner monster to go with it!
With Boggart Knight, Synchro Summoning monsters like XX-Saber Hyunlei is easy. Just Normal Summon Boggart Knight and Special Summon X-Saber Pashuul along with it. With Boggart Knight and an X-Saber Tuner monster, you can easily Synchro Summon any of the X-Saber Synchro Monsters. Which Synchro Monster you can Summon depends on which Tuner you have in your hand. Check out these possibilities:
Boggart Knight + Palomuro = 5 Levels = Wayne
Boggart Knight + Pashuul = 6 Levels = Hyunlei
Boggart Knight + Airbellum or Fulhelmknight = 7 Levels = Urbellum
Boggart Knight + Airbellum or Fulhelmknight + Faultroll = 9 Levels = Gottoms + Boggart Knight
Besides his Special Summon ability, “XX-Saber Boggart Knight’s” 1900 ATK is a big deal, too. If you need to take out a Blackwing - Shura the Blue Flame or Super-Nimble Mega Hamster, Boggart Knight can do it, no ifs, ands, or buts. It’s the extra bit of muscle that X-Saber Duelists have been waiting for, and it’s really easy to get!
Even if you don’t have an X-Saber Deck yet, Boggart Knight is a great card to play in your Deck during the Sneak Peek. Monsters with 1900 ATK are hard to find, but you get this one just for signing up!
